Read downwards. Hand Written chinese calligraphy by Master Ching Kung. Two famous phrases, from the Contemplation Sutra of the School of Pure Land. Eight words, wrapping up the whole of Buddhism. "If the mind creates the Buddha. The mind is the Buddha." Left to right. "If the mind is the Buddha. The mind creates the Buddha." right to left. Profound. Too vast for words.
